About Caino.
Heritage
into the future.

A fellowship of two men, one from Milan the other from Brescia, rightful heirs to the ancient knowledge of swordsmithing, we have brought the historic and prestigious trademark “CAINO” back to life.

From history
to the future roots.

Having practiced HEMA for years, we study and rigorously apply Achille Marozzo’s treatises – particularly the THIRD BOOK of his Opera Nova dated 1536.

Inside the technology.
Safety and performance.

Our project of developing a new generation of HEMA swords resulted from the need to fulfil a specific requirement: SAFETY.

The fundamentals of our action can be condensed into a simple equation: safety = products born from advanced technology to guarantee comfort as well as full control of the sword.

We dedicated two years to research and development, meticulously monitoring every phase of production and constantly carrying out product and quality tests. We did not give up even when failures and critical issues appeared impossible to overcome and we patiently corrected our work, referring back to our fieldwork.

The safety of our weapons is first and foremost the result of flexible blades which at the same time retain their stability. This allows for the swordsman’s full expression whilst fighting without the concern surrounding the consequences on the opponent of a thrust or uncontrolled cut.

As a result of Flex Flow™ Technology, our blades do not release the rebound energy of a thrust into
the point of contact. This is because they remain partially bowed in order to counteract the recoil.
Naturally, this is a programmed and temporary flexion that does not foresee any loss in elasticity
and which guarantees an optimal return to the original shape through
a simple manual counter-flexing repositioning.
